A severe earthquake shook the Zinda Jan district of Herat province on October 14, 2013, causing great loss of life and property to the people of the province. A large number of people were martyred and many were displaced. At this critical moment when the people of the region needed urgent help, the volunteer team of the Charity Foundation for the Support of Health
Indigent Patients was dispatched to the affected area. After examining the earthquake-stricken area, a number of residents remained in their ruined houses and were in dire need of urgent food assistance. Therefore, the volunteers of the Charity Foundation for the Support of Health
Indigent Patients distributed food items such as flour, rice, beans, sugar, etc. to 100 families in the form of a complete package.
