A strong earthquake shook the Zinda Jan district of Herat province on October 15, 2023, causing huge human and financial losses to the people of this province. A large number of people were martyred and many others were displaced. At this critical moment when the local people needed urgent help, the volunteer team of the Charity Foundation for the Support of the Health of Indigent Patients was dispatched to the affected area. After a comprehensive investigation, our volunteer team found that the patients in the provincial hospital of Herat province needed blankets to save them from the cold. The Charity Foundation for the Support of the Health of Indigent Patients delivered 100 blankets to the patients in the provincial hospital of Herat so that the patients could be saved from the cold of winter.
