The terrible floods in Takhar province caused huge human and financial losses to people in most areas of Farkhar and Warsaj districts of this province. It took the lives of a number of people, destroyed their homes, and most of the people of these areas were displaced to safer places. The Charity Foundation for Supporting the Health of Poor Patients, upon realizing this disaster, immediately sent a team of trained doctors to the flooded area. The doctors of this foundation organized a health camp in the flooded area on May 17, 2024. Over the course of three days, more than 250 patients were treated by this foundation on a basic basis.
